A person recognized has Shehari Choudari has been arrested by the authorities on the Kempegowda Worldwide Airport in Bengaluru, for smoking in the bathroom on an Indigo flight, stories IANS. As per the report, the incident happened on Saturday, March 18, 2023, when the accused was travelling on an Assam-Bengaluru IndiGo Flight 6E 716. The accused passenger had smoked in the bathroom whereas the flight was within the air, endangering the security of different passengers.
The crew of the IndiGo flight observed the scent in the bathroom and reported it to the authorities. Upon touchdown on the Bengaluru Worldwide Airport, the airport police arrested one individual recognized as Shehari Choudari. He was taken into custody as quickly as he bought down on the Bengaluru airport.
As per IANS, the incident had taken place at 1.30 AM on Saturday morning and the airport police have taken up investigation on this regard. This is among the many incidents of passenger smoking contained in the flight.
Within the first week of March, a 24-year-old girl was caught smoking in the bathroom on an Indigo flight from Kolkata. She was arrested on her arrival in Bengaluru and was later launched on bail.
A number of incidents of smoking on worldwide flights have been reported as nicely, the bulk being witnessed on Air India.
