Equity markets rally for 2nd day; Sensex jumps 1% – Times of India

MUMBAI: Fairness benchmark indices prolonged their earlier day’s rally on Friday, with the Sensex climbing 1 per cent, amid shopping for in index main Reliance Industries, recent international fund inflows and a largely constructive pattern in international markets.
The 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 629.07 factors or 1.02 per cent to settle at 62,501.69. In the course of the day, it rallied 657.21 factors or 1.06 per cent to 62,529.83.
The NSE Nifty climbed 178.20 factors or 0.97 per cent to finish at 18,499.35.
From the Sensex pack, Reliance Industries jumped 2.79 per cent. Solar Pharma, Hindustan Unilever, HCL Applied sciences, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Tata Metal and Titan had been among the many different main gainers.
Bharti Airtel, Energy Grid and NTPC had been the laggards.
In Asian markets, Seoul, Tokyo and Shanghai ended within the inexperienced.
